If you haven't looked at previous updates I reconmend you do.
but here is the sysnopsis of the Animation which should be completed by the 6th of september. (Screwed.)
“A Wheel Bolt on a formula 1 car is part of a large crash in a corner tunnel on the mountains of Croatia. The audience is taken through his adventure as he tries to jump to freedom and escape the peril of the crash.”
Above you can see the three images, bearing in mind the lighting hasn't really been touched. This is looking good with the cars in the scene. For the past couple of weeks a large issue has come up on several occasions. The reference system has many errors, from not being referenced properly or the lack of rendering. So as director I’ve decided to just import the cars into the scene, this makes the process a lot faster.
Here is the opening shot of the animation. going to try and do the water in nuke compositing and going to add a hdri image and a background in maya.
Another test but the wing is moving. To fix the problem it was hidden up to the point and then shown when the animation was needed.
I quickly did a test to develop an understanding of particle collisions. Making the particles colide with the geometry making the geometry fly in different directions.
Comparison between shot two 2 months ago and shot 2 a week ago.

here is just a playblast of the cars with the shaders. Shot 2
This shot ^^ (21). I created the stepped animation and now passed it on to james who has taken the cars further down the track so they dont stop so suddenly, he's also sorting out the timing.
Thanks
