Something new for you that i've been working on for a project. Now to start we were given the task of compositing objects into backplates. (images) here below is one of the images that was given to us. each of the objects are different and each are a different material. The objects that we got are (a slab, a rock and a door.) and the materials we need to make are Slate, Granite and the door can be of our choosing.

This is the final piece, composited in After Effects. The clouds are animated to move. I will show a clip of that in the next update.
The next image i have almost finished is the door image. We weren't given guidelines on this so this is what i came up with.

Last of all is the granite and it hasn't been composited yet, the final composite will be done in Nuke where as these last two has been done in After effects. here is a render to show what it is like just rendered out of maya.
