so here is a quick update on what's been going on over the last week on Screwed, we as a team are almost ready to animate, and should of be animating by now (but nevermind) friday I'm giving the get go on it. For today I've been working on texturing the cars and environment. I'll show some logos my team have made and I'll show you a few still shots from the cars point of view of the track.
So first up is the cars, tomorrow I am putting the logos on them but here is the base texturing for them.
As you can see the cars are coming on quite nicely, I'm happy at the moment, but of course I want them finish as soon as possible so I can concentrate on debris and characters. My animator I want to work throughout the July on soley animation.
Above is some environment work, tomorrow evening I'm hoping to get most of the cliffs done. 1st and 2nd photos are just a comparison for motion blur. I prefer it will motion blur but a bit less blur. 3rd photo is a grandstand and we will place ourselves in it.
Finally these four images are examples of logos that are going on the track. one of the members cleverly used team mates names or nicknames to create new logos that don't breach copyright and are fun little jokes at each other.

Can't you start rendering using a proxy of the car, whilst finishing the modelling of it off? It'd really speed up the progress of it.
