project screwed update

hey

so here is an update on the cars and environment. lucky for me I've had the oppotunity for a pupil from chepstow comprehensive to come down to swansea and work on the project as part of his work exprience. For the project he's created some logos, got to grips with the uv texturer editor and tomorrow I'm going to show him some modelling skills that hopefully he can take back to school with him and use.

We are having 6 cars and 4 different types.

First here is the Mclaren
 Second the Ferrari

Third the Williams


As you can see a wide range of colours, tomorrow I will upload the RedBull. I personally can't wait to have these going around the track and then crashing into each other. A lot of work has been done on these cars and the progression is starting to come.

Here next is just some progress renders on the track itself, we are animating first thing tomorrow morning and so the modelling and texturing will be put on hold until next week. but here is the state that the mountains and the general track is in.

Clouds were added in this photo but I think we will use an image rather than dynamics.

 mountains were finally done with just a simple texture. I'm happy with them but they do need a bit of work done to them

Placed the textured cars in the scene is get a feel for the positioning and scale.
